WP Engine is proud to announce that we received two prestigious honors from The 2026 Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service. Our technical support team earned a Bronze Stevie Award for Customer Service Department of the Year – Computer Services, and our digital customer service (DCX) team secured a Silver Stevie Award for AI & Tech-Focused Digital Transformation Team of the Year.

A Silver Stevie in AI and digital transformation

The Silver Stevie Award for AI & Tech-Focused Digital Transformation Team of the Year recognizes the forward-thinking initiatives implemented by our DCX department. The AI & Digital Transformation category is a brand new in the 2026 season, and our team is proud to have earned its inaugural Silver designation.

As AI continues to reshape the web, WP Engine has remained at the forefront, integrating smart tools that enhance our team’s ability to support great experiences on our platform.

Highlights from the DCX team that helped them secure this award include:

• Transitioning to a new AI chatbot, which achieved a 90% success rate in resolving or routing complex technical requests.
• Fine-tuning bot prompts to encourage deep customer detail. These prompts ensure that hand offs to support engineers have the necessary information to resolve issues quickly and save thousands of hours of context-gathering work.
• Establishing rigorous tracking systems to monitor chat IDs and department routing, allowing support engineers to isolate caching issues and technical disconnects.

These optimizations and more have reduced monthly support interactions by a third, as the support bot enables our customers to more easily self-serve on simple requests.

A Bronze Stevie for customer service excellence

The Bronze Stevie Award for Customer Service Department of the Year – Computer Services highlights the incredible work of our global support team. As an enterprise-grade software and managed hosting provider, our support is more than just a help desk; it’s a lifeline for developers and business owners who need quick, expert advice.

WP Engine experts are available 24/7, 365 days a year via chat or phone. This award recognizes the 95% customer satisfaction score achieved by our team after implementing a new system of performance dashboards and trackers. 

Through a mix of empathetic service and technical precision, our team ensures no customer has to navigate a challenge alone.

Evaluation criteria

Winners were determined by taking the average scores across specialized judging committees. More than 250 professionals across 12 sub-committees submitted scores on a scale of 1–10 over a months-long judging process, and each entry was reviewed by no fewer than five judges. 

Entrants receiving an average score of at least 7.75 earned a Bronze Stevie, and entrants receiving an average score of at least 8 earned a Silver Stevie. Only the highest scoring entry in each category secured a Gold Stevie Award.
