This month, the WP Engine Brisbane office is delighted and honored to celebrate its one-year anniversary in Australia. As the newest office in the continued global expansion of WP Engine, the Brisbane office represents a place of incredible opportunity, growth and excitement. At WP Engine, our goal is to help customers win online via our award-winning digital experience platform; we are pleased to bring these capabilities to customers worldwide.

Over the past year, we have increased our presence in Australia and the surrounding region. Since we opened our Brisbane office, we have seen a 28% growth in our Australian customer base, resulting in thousands of new Australian and New Zealand customers. Subsequently, our Brisbane-based team has more than doubled and we are helping customers like AMR Hair, Present Company and Vegepod drive their business forward faster.

Brisbane team welcomes CEO, Heather Brunner, to Australia to help celebrate the one-year anniversary.

To help celebrate our first year in Australia, WP Engine Chairwoman and CEO Heather Brunner will be visiting the Brisbane office and attending several community events in Brisbane and Sydney. As part of her time in Brisbane, Brunner will be participating in a fireside-style discussion with Women in Digital, an organization on a mission to change gender diversity in the technology industry. Brunner recently signed the Women in Digital 2020 pledge-an industry commitment to create greater gender diversity in technology companies across Australia.

Brunner’s fireside chat, titled ‘Creating a Diverse Workplace,’ will discuss how WP Engine has achieved hyper-growth, significant success and maintained gender inclusivity as it has grown globally. This event will take place at River City Labs on Wednesday, June 6th from 6:00-8:30 pm AEST.
