When WP Engine launched its London office earlier this year, we did so to be closer to our growing customer base in EMEA. WordPress usage in Europe has grown steadily, and now the demand is turning to managed WordPress hosting as a way for businesses to grow and power their brands. We want to serve and support our customers close to home.

This week, we took the WP Engine story to the Nordics, visiting with companies in that exciting part of the world. The area has a thriving and growing WordPress community, as evidenced by the success of the most recent WordCamp Sweden. Next to the UK, the Nordics is the second largest region for us in terms of customer concentration in Europe.

Among those customers is Ellevio, one of Sweden’s largest electricity companies, which needed a flexible platform upon which to build a new website. Ellevio chose WP Engine’s platform and was able to quickly and easily transfer and integrate existing content while creating new content for hundreds of web pages.

Learn more in this case study that chronicles Ellevio’s WP Engine story, both in English and in Swedish.

And if your Swedish is up to par, check out this cool interview with WP Engine CEO Heather Brunner from Dagensanalys.
