Every WP Engine location around the world is now certified by the expert analysts at Great Place to Work
WP Engine, the world’s most trusted WordPress technology company, is officially a globally recognized Great Place to Work! This year marks the first occasion that every single one of our teams has been eligible to participate in Great Place to Work certification—both Kraków and Australia were ineligible in years past due to the minimum employee thresholds required for participation.
Even at the height of the pandemic, when many companies were forced to cut their workforce, WP Engine was able to hire employees at every location, eventually exceeding the minimum employee requirements set forth by Great Place to Work. Now, we’re proud to announce that WP Engine has achieved workplace greatness on a global scale!
Each year, Great Place to Work uses employee insight taken from surveys to rate participating employers on the effectiveness of their workplace culture. Using their patented Trust Index™ survey, GPTW can break down data regarding the communication practices, respectfulness, and behaviors that impact workers, compiling useful information that leaders can then use to improve the experiences of their employees.
More than 5 million Americans are employed with GPTW-certified organizations in the U.S., with millions more in the additional 75+ countries and regions where certification is currently available.
While many participating organizations often note an “experience gap” among employee responses by demographic, WP Engine has seen similar positive survey results across all demographics (including race, gender, sexual orientation, and age), proving that our focus on inclusivity and acceptance is continuing to push our company culture in the right direction.
United States
Our locations in the United States were the first to be Great Place to Work certified. We currently have three office locations in the U.S.: one in Austin, TX; one in Omaha, NE; and one in San Antonio, TX.
London, England
We opened our first international location in 2015. Just four years later, our London office received recognition as the 24th Best Small Workplace in the UK by Great Place to Work UK!
Limerick, Ireland
This year will mark the third consecutive year that our Limerick office has achieved certification by Great Place to Work, and in March of this year, it was named the 23rd Best Small Workplace in Ireland.
Kraków, Poland
Our Kraków office opened officially in May 2020 becoming the company’s second R&D hub in Europe. Since then, the team continued to grow and became large enough to participate in the Great Place to Work certification process!
Brisbane, Australia
In October 2017, WP Engine opened its Brisbane office. Our Australian employees have given generously of their time, talent and resources since then to improve the communities where they live and work and as ambassadors for WordPress. This year, our Brisbane location earned eligibility and achieved Great Place to Work certification.
