WP Engine Supports Austin Startup Week 2016 By Organizing The Marketing Educational Track
As part of our commitment to support startup communities around the world, WP Engine is leading the charge for Austin Startup Week’s marketing track.
Austin Startup Week, which will be held on October 2-7, is a five-day event where the technology community comes together to learn and celebrate its uniquely Austin culture. National experts from the Austin tech community will host tracks on topics ranging from cyber security and design to health tech, fundraising, gaming, and beyond.
This year, WP Engine is helping to organize a marketing track at ASW, which is completely free and open to anyone wanting to learn more about digital marketing. The track features talks from leaders in the field, including Jason Cohen, Founder and CTO of WP Engine; Shawn Collins, Founder of Affiliate Summit; and Noah Kagan, Founder of AppSumo.
The impressive lineup of sessions will equip marketers with the ideas and insights needed to take their startup to the next level. The AWS marketing track schedule is as follows:
October 3
4:00-5:00 p.m.: Marketing Mindset for Developers (WP Engine) will help you build products that sell and features an impressive lineup of experts. Speakers include,

October 4
10:00-11:30 a.m.: Mastering Online Advertising: PPC, Affiliate, Email Marketing (Capital Factory) will equip you with new techniques to help take your PPC marketing the next level. Speakers include,

WP Engine is also organizing a special happy hour for all the marketers in Austin for ASW at the Austin Ale House on Wednesday, October 5 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Space is limited, so be sure to register as soon as possible.
The famous Startup Crawl will take place on October 6. A massive city-wide event ending at the Capital Factory, the Startup Crawl showcases the legendary Austin entrepreneurial hospitality with startups all over the city opening their doors to job seekers, investors, and potential customers. With good drinks, cool office spaces, and interesting people you’ll find yourself wishing you had a little more time.
